More Cheat Shortcuts by darkhorus

Cheating has always been a big part of any Sims game. From storytellers needing to set up the perfect circumstances for a certain scene or storyline, to those players who just can't be bothered to sim their way up to the proverbial top the old-fashioned way; there's bound to be something there for any type of simmer, even you!

Have you never cheated in The Sims? Well then, get in the game and fix that, asap! It is not yet too late, to join the dark side with us! Besides, we have cookies!

Okay, let's just cut the chit chat short, and get down to what you're here for!

As you may know, a lot of cheats (most notably the 'unofficial' ones not shared by the devs, but found and published by our own TwistedMexi) are quite long, and some can be pretty hard to remember, too. That is where this Mod comes into play.

Building onto the original cheat shortcuts Mod by plasticbox, More Cheat Shortcuts is my initiative to add... well, shortcuts for more cheats!

So, let's see what we've got here.

So this Mod contains shortcuts for the same cheats that plasticbox' Mod does + a lot more!! I'll walk you through all of them.

This Mod contains shortcuts in the following cheat categories:
General
Money & Funds
Build/Buy
Skills
Traits
Perks (retail & restaurant)
Powers (vampires)
Careers
Vampires (misc.)

Toddlers have less nightmares - 3 flavors by Candyd

Does your toddler break your heart crying almost every night because of a nightmare ? More likely, is your sim woken up several times every night by her triplets and her husband's alien triplets born by pure coincidence at the exact same time ? Even more likely, does having to read toddler books and turn on the radio every night for their wild toddler give your sims nightmares ? If you answered yes to one of these questions, this mod is for you !

What does this mod do ?

In the Sims 4, toddlers have a 50% chance of having a nightmare at night ; this chance is divided by 5 for independent toddlers, and all toddlers have 10 times less nightmares than before once their thinking skill reaches 3.

My mod changes the base chance : one flavor reduces the nightmares to 20%, another to 10%, and the last one completely eliminates nightmares from the start. Flavors that still allow nightmares also allow independent toddlers and toddlers with high thinking skill to have less nightmares than others, as only the base chance to have nightmares has been changed.

No autonomous romantic serenade by Candyd

Do you regret giving your sims the singing skill, because once they reach level 3, they start serenading their partner nonstop, and you're feeling embarrassed for them because their talent is questionable ? If your answer is yes, then this mod is for you.

What does this mod do ?

This is a "no autonomy" mod. Once you've installed it, sims will stop singing serenades to their partner autonomously, but you can still direct them to do it. Sims may still serenade their partner with musical instruments autonomously.

Improved reactions to aliens - 4 flavors by Candyd

If you play with aliens, you may fear angry reactions from sims who meet them, to the point where no relationships between alien and human sims are possible. You may also be sad because of the embarrassed emotion that aliens feel if they don't disguise themselves all the time. Or you may wonder why good sims don't react to aliens with more kindness.

If yes, this mod will solve your problems.

How do sims behave by default ?

Sims always get a +2 angry moodlet discovering an alien if their relationship (friendship bar) is worse than -5 ; moodlets are randomly angry or confident if the relationship is between -5 and +5 ; the moodlet is always +2 confident if the relationship is superior to +5.

When discovered, aliens have 50% chance to feel +2 embarrassed.

When discovering an alien, sims get a random relationship gain or drop varying between -10 and +10. The exceptions are insane sims (random, between -20 and + 20), cheerful sims (always +10), geeks (always +20), mean sims (always -10), hot-headed sims (always -10).

No Outfit Change During the Spice Festival by Ravynwolvf

This mod is an override for another of my pet peeves, which is forcing all the Sims into brown colored clothing at the Spice Festival, making it look like a poor man's Firefly convention (the Browncoats are coming!). All it does is keep them instead in their regular clothes, which will usually be their everyday outfits.

You may still see a straggler or two dressed in something other than their normal outfits, because Maxis has a whole lot of different "situations" in the coding, and wading through them all lacked any sense of fun for me. Besides which, some probably actually add flavor to the Fest, like putting people manning the grills in aprons. But what an "overeater" is I don't even know, so they're gonna still wear what they feel is appropriate for gluttony.

The mod in an override, overriding the outfit change that took place at the Spice Festival (the "Food Festival" in the coding) for the bulk of the festival goers.

No notifications for vegetarian sims after eating by Candyd

If you're playing with vegetarian sims, you're certainly upset to constantly have notifications every time your sim just ate something, to the point where those notifications literally invade your wall. Install this mod and say goodbye to those annoying notifications !

What does this mod do ?

In the Sims 4, vegetarian sims constantly receive completely useless notifications every time they eat, such as "Whoa ! (Your sim) has discovered a delicious alternative to meat products ! Who knew that a meal could still have the familiar meat taste without the meat ?", and worse, "Successful vegetarian food is successful ! The flavors, the texture, all around amazing ! This dish definitely has (your sim)'s seal of approval.". This mod simply deletes these two invasive notifications. It doesn't change anything else to actual gameplay. Your vegetarian sims will still experience the same moodlets and emotions as usual after a meal, and notifications will display only after eating non-vegetarian food.

The Living Mannequin Mod 1.0 by G1G2

So it is the 17th sims anniversary so i thought i would bring back some nostalgia from the older sims games particularly the sims 2 so here this mod/costume make the mannequins alive.

  • -the mannequins are a costume found in face paint available from toddlers to to elders.
  • -the other part is a trait without adding them Mannequins are like any normal sims
  • -the trait is available for all age and its under life style.
  • -the trait makes your mannequins needless they don't need to eat nor sleep or dispose or shower etc.
  • -the trait also with buffs that are related to mannequins like "lacking life"
  • "what am i" and "how life feels like" images down in spoilers.
  • -the trait will make sims having them super great if they are npc working in a retail store or if they have a "teen retail" as a part time job.

CAS FullEditMode Always On by TwistedMexi

This mod is fairly straight-forward, it turns on cas.fulleditmode for you automatically so that you'll never have to enter fulleditmode before opening CAS. This saves you from having to re-enter it every time you travel, switch households, or return from CAS.

This pairs nicely with my Always TestingCheats True mod, which you can get from my cheat wiki or from MTS.

Simply open the download and copy the .ts4script file to your mods folder.
Once installed, just use cas as you would normally and the full edit mode will always be unlocked.

NOTE: If you haven't enabled script mods yet, you'll need to open your game and go to Options > Game Options > Other > Script Mods and make sure it's checked. Apply and restart your game.

Knowledge Aspiration (TS2-TS4) by jackboog21

The Knowledge aspiration from The Sims 2 is back! Thanks to Zerbu's awesome Mod Constructor I have recreated the Knowledge aspiration.

The original aspiration had 6 levels and each were different depending on age. So I took the 1st from Teen, 2 from Adult, and 1 from Elder. When creating each level I pulled from the name and the original aspiration's wants. In the end, the first 3 levels focus on Logic, Programming, and Rocket Science respectively.

The aspiration will give your Sim whims; though none of them are new whims. Basic things, like Read a Book, Play Chess, etc.

Family Aspiration (TS2-TS4) by jackboog21

The Family aspiration from The Sims 2 is back! Thanks to Zerbu's awesome Mod Constructor I have recreated the Family aspiration.

The original aspiration had 6 levels and each were different depending on age. So I took the 1st from Teen, 2 from Adult, and 1 from Elder. When creating each level I pulled from the name and the original aspiration's wants. In the end, the aspiration sorta became a mix of the Soulmate Aspiration and either of the BG Family aspirations.

The aspiration will give your Sims whims; though none of them are new whims. Basic things, like Read to a Child, Help a Child or Teen with Homework, Try for Baby, etc.

Pride and Joy:
Is your Sim a teen? Maybe they just aged up. Or maybe they're older and just haven't found romance.

*Have First Kiss
*Have a Romantic Interest
*Have a Boyfriend or Girlfriend

Role Model:
Now your Sim has a significant other and aged up to at-least Young Adult. If your Sim wants a family, they're going to have to get married first.

*Be a Young Adult or Older
*Get Engaged
*Get Married

Family Rock:
Now it's Family time and your Sim's aged up again, welcome to Adulthood Sim. Let's get them their 1st child, make sure to have them spend time with them.

*Be an Adult or Older
*Have a Child
*Read to A Child

Updates:
1/7/2017 - Added Russian translations. (Thanks TheSimmer26)

A Bothersome Brat is mean, wants to get to level 5 in Motor, and play on the Monkey Bars.

*Achieve Level 5 in Motor
*Be Mean 5 Times
