Painter Work from Home by NoelleBellefleur
Hello Simmers!
After my Writer Work from Home mod, I made the painter version because it seemed another popular option
This mod enables the "work from home" option for the painter career. Working from home has the same mechanism that came with City Living careers. You will get a notification 1 hour before work where you can choose from sending your sim to work, working from home or taking PTO. Then you get two assignments if you choose the "work from home" option. A few examples of these assignment are below.
Painter (before choosing a branch)
painting in different styles (classical, pop art, abstract, etc.)
painting emotional paintings
taking photos
crafting sculptures
starting street sales
discussing art
After choosing a branch, the Master of the Real career will have very similar assignments as above (with a few additions like painting excellent paintings and leveling up in the logic skill). Patron of the Arts however will have more social assignments and a few artistic ones. Patron of the Arts assignment examples:
meeting sims in different neighborhoods
mentoring other sims in painting
making inspirational speeches
improving charisma skill
painting
Your sim will get the same amount of money they would get by working a whole workday in the traditional way. One assignment grants half the daily wage since you get two assignments every day.
The levels, skill requirements, work days and wages per hour (if you choose to send your sim to work) remain the same as they were without any mods.

Writer Work from Home by NoelleBellefleur
I made my first mod that enables the "work from home" option for the writer career. Working from home has the same mechanism that came with City Living careers. You will get a notification 1 hour before work where you can choose from sending your sim to work, working from home or taking PTO. Then you get two assignments if you choose the "work from home" option. Most of the assignments are the same as other careers' (social media, critic, activist), but there are some new tasks, especially after choosing a branch for your sim.
Below there are a few examples of the daily assignments.
Writer (before choosing a branch) career assignments
improving writing skill
reading books
visiting different neighborhoods
Author career assignments
improving writing and logic skills
writing books
reading books
publishing books
Journalist career assignments
taking photos at different venues
interviewing sims
visiting festivals
rummaging bins for information
writing articles

More Buyable Venues by LittleMsSam
What i added so far:
Venues you can buy:
Bar
Club
How to buy a public Venue:
You can buy those Venues via the "More buyable Venues" PC
What can you do on those Venues:
Transfer Money from and to Household
Build on Lot with your own Money
Earn Money
How to earn Money (Does not work on residential lots):
With the buyable Computer or Cash Register. Like my Freelancer Mod, these will let you collect Money every 24 hrs. Like the Freelancer Mod the outcome is random and depends on your charisma level
Bartending. When Sims order a drink you will get a random Money loot no matter if you are the bartender or a NPC
What's on my to do List for this mod:
Adding more Venues
Adding Money Loot to ExpressoBar for Cafes
Adding Money Loot for Entertainment like Bowling Lane, KaraokeBar
What you also need to know:
This mod is based on the retail store xmls from Get to Work as deep as possible without scripting. The functions of the retail store don't work on other lots than the real retail store
All Venues still have their individuell behavier, nothing was changed there
If you use this mod, delete the Freelancer Mod pls

Child and Teen can Quit or Rejoin School by CardTaken
Quit School:
You can quit school as a Child or Teen by opening up your phone, going to the Career/Household panel, and clicking "Quit Job." The game will prompt you to confirm your decision, the same as if you're quitting a career as an adult.
Rejoin School:
You can rejoin school after quitting by opening up your phone, going to the Career/Household panel, and clicking "Find a Job." The game will bring up the panel that allows you to choose a career. Note that you will start a grade behind what you quit at. So if you were C when you quit, you will be D when you rejoin. If you were D when you quit, you will be F when you rejoin.
Differences between Child and Teen:
Child: Children can't be whisked away from having too low of a Grade. I put this in the mod to handle situations where you quit/rejoin a lot and end up with a really bad grade that is hard to get out of and puts your Child Sim close to being taken away.
Teen: Teens require some explaining. For reasons I haven't yet wrapped my head around, allowing Teens to quit school like it's a career interferes with whatever it is that normally allows them to have a job and attend school. This means that if you try to have a job and attend school as a Teen (with this mod installed) the game will prompt you to choose one over the other; only job or only school.

Child Care Career for Adults and Improved Babysitter Career for Teens by Andrew & OM
This mod adds a Child Care career for adults and fixes the teen babysitter career a little bit. The pay is changed for both ages to be more consistent with wages for other careers in the game. It is always a part-time job even at the top level of the career, so Sims that aren't interested in long hours have an occupation option suited to their wants. Also, since we thought it was kind of silly to have a uniform for babysitting and working in a daycare, Sims will go to work in their everyday outfit instead of the ugly babysitter uniform that came with the game.
What this mod will do
Adult Sims
Can select Child Care as a career and it is a part-time day job
Will not wear a uniform to work
Have the same first three levels in the Child Care career that teens have in the Babysitter career
Have an additional two levels that teens do not have
Achieving the top level will give the Sim the "Observant" trait as a reward along with their cash bonus
Level 1: Babysitter, Mon-Fri, 11:00-4:00, $20/hr, Charisma 2
Level 2: Nanny, Mon-Fri, 11:00-4:00, $23/hr, Charisma 3
Level 3: Daycare Assistant: Mon-Fri, 9:00-3:00, $24/hr, Logic 3
Level 4: Day Care Teacher: Mon-Fri, 9:00-3:00, $29/hr, Charisma 4/Logic 5
Level 5: Special Needs Educator: Mon-Fri, 9:00-3:00, $38/hr, Reward-observant trait
Teen Sims
The first two levels have their own aspiration instead of both using the same one, and both are enabled
Will not wear a uniform to babysit
Will be able to retain their job title if they select the Child Care career after aging up
The titles are not changed but the hours and pay are a bit different
Level 1: Sat-Sun, 6:00-11:00, $20/hr, Charisma 2
Level 2: Same days and hours, $23/hr, Charisma 3
Level 3: Sat-Sun, 9:00-3:00 (daytime hours), 24/hr

Improved Fast Food Career by AOM
We wanted to create a legitimate daytime paid occupation for Sims who don't necessarily want a high-powered career and who can't or won't work long hours. It's perfect for single parents who need to be home for their kids after school and Sims who want to focus on something other than a career. For Sims who decide they would like a bit more involvement with their work, two additional full-time levels are available. Those pay more to reflect the benefits that come with full-time employment. Teens will still have the career option as EA designed it. However, when they age up, they will have the option to keep their job title if they select the adult version of the career.
What this mod will do
Adult Sims
Can select the Fast Food career track as they would any other.
Work during daytime hours Mon-Fri.
Hours grow gradually longer as they advance through the levels.
Get paid a bit more per hour for their work than the teen track pays (enough to just support a small family on their own).
Can be promoted to two levels after the original three the teen career has, each has a different uniform and requirements (see below).
Will not be rewarded for going to work in a flirty, silly, or hysterical mood.
Adult Fast Food Career: titles, pay, hours, bonuses, and promotion requirements
Level 1: Table Cleaner, $18/hr, 9am-1pm (5 hours).
Level 2: Fry Cook, $20/hr, 8am-1pm (6 hours), $325, same as the teen career.
Level 3: Food Service Cashier, $22/hr, 8am-2pm (7 hours), $375, charisma (level 2) and logic (level 2).
Level 4: Shift Supervisor, $35, 8am-3pm (8 hours), $425, charisma (level 5), logic (level 6), cooking (level 7).
Level 5: Fast Food Joint Manager, $50, 9am-4pm (8 hours), $800 + a small amount of additional paid time off.

More Cheat Shortcuts by darkhorus
Cheating has always been a big part of any Sims game. From storytellers needing to set up the perfect circumstances for a certain scene or storyline, to those players who just can't be bothered to sim their way up to the proverbial top the old-fashioned way; there's bound to be something there for any type of simmer, even you!
Have you never cheated in The Sims? Well then, get in the game and fix that, asap! It is not yet too late, to join the dark side with us! Besides, we have cookies!
Okay, let's just cut the chit chat short, and get down to what you're here for!
As you may know, a lot of cheats (most notably the 'unofficial' ones not shared by the devs, but found and published by our own TwistedMexi) are quite long, and some can be pretty hard to remember, too. That is where this Mod comes into play.
Building onto the original cheat shortcuts Mod by plasticbox, More Cheat Shortcuts is my initiative to add... well, shortcuts for more cheats!
So, let's see what we've got here.
So this Mod contains shortcuts for the same cheats that plasticbox' Mod does + a lot more!! I'll walk you through all of them.
This Mod contains shortcuts in the following cheat categories:
General
Money & Funds
Build/Buy
Skills
Traits
Perks (retail & restaurant)
Powers (vampires)
Careers
Vampires (misc.)

Add a new Self-Employment Career with only one level : Self-Employed.
This career is intended mainly to fill the career panel and when asking other Sims what their job is.
This level has a one-hour work day because the UI needs it, but it's not paid, and you can miss it without any penalty. So you can role-play it as an administrative appointment or just ignore it.
Languages available
English and French
If you are playing in another language, all the texts will appear in English.

Realistic Salaries (Lower Career Salaries) by Wizirdi
What does this mod do?
Is The Sims 4 too casual for you? Finding a lack of challenge or fun? Sick of getting rich quick only because you have two sims working regular jobs?
This mod fixes that.
This mod lowers the salaries of all adult and teen careers by 40-50%. Doing this makes the wages more realistic and balances the game out nicely.
It does not make the game too hard (for experienced players), yet provides a decent challenge! (Bills will actually make you sad, sometimes)
Now promotion, bonuses and any form of 'extra income' will also mean something and help you out a lot more than it used too!
