More Buyable Venues by LittleMsSam


What i added so far:

Venues you can buy:
Bar
Club

How to buy a public Venue:
You can buy those Venues via the "More buyable Venues" PC

What can you do on those Venues:
Transfer Money from and to Household
Build on Lot with your own Money
Earn Money

How to earn Money (Does not work on residential lots):
With the buyable Computer or Cash Register. Like my Freelancer Mod, these will let you collect Money every 24 hrs. Like the Freelancer Mod the outcome is random and depends on your charisma level
Bartending. When Sims order a drink you will get a random Money loot no matter if you are the bartender or a NPC

What's on my to do List for this mod:
Adding more Venues
Adding Money Loot to ExpressoBar for Cafes
Adding Money Loot for Entertainment like Bowling Lane, KaraokeBar

What you also need to know:
This mod is based on the retail store xmls from Get to Work as deep as possible without scripting. The functions of the retail store don't work on other lots than the real retail store
All Venues still have their individuell behavier, nothing was changed there
If you use this mod, delete the Freelancer Mod pls

Entrance Fee and Donation - Signs for public Venues by LittleMsSam


Hello everyone,

i always wanted to pay for visiting public venues like the museum etc. Since i have no idea how to program scripts i was trying to find another way to make that possible.
So i made this mod which adds a few Signs to the Buy Menu (Decorative - Miscellaneous) which have different interaction options. You can buy a Single Ticket, a Group Ticket and sometimes you can also donate.

Checked with Game Version >1.28.25.1020<

Library - 10$ Single Ticket, 20$ Group Ticket & 100$ Donation
Museum - 10$ Single Ticket, 20$ Group Ticket & 100$ Donation
Arts Center - 15$ Single Ticket, 30$ Group Ticket & 100$ Donation
Pool - 5$ Single Ticket & 10$ Group Ticket
Nightclub - 15$ Single Ticket & 30$ Group Ticket
Fitness Center - 15$ Single Ticket & 30$ Group Ticket
Wellness Center - 20$ Single Ticket & 40$ Group Ticket

Flea Market appears every sunday by LittleMsSam


Hello everyone,

as a starving artist i want to be able to go to the Flea Market to sell my stuff every Sunday... at least until i can afford my own business

So i made a small tuning mod which overrides the xml for the Flea Market to appear every sunday instead of every second sunday.

It may happen to not work the first sunday after you install this mod depending when the last Flea Market was ingame (because it works like a countdown) but it should appear every sunday after that.

Free Staff and no phone call animation for market stalls by LittleMsSam


i made a small tuning mod which overrides the interaction when you hire staff for market stalls you can put on lots because i was really annoyed that i had to call and pay staff.

You still have to click on the market stall and choose hire staff but there will be no Phone Call Animation anymore and you don't have to pay for them.

I changed the Staff Costs from 100$ to 0 $ and deleted the part where the Sims Phone Call Animation was coded.

No Outfit Change During the Spice Festival by Ravynwolvf


This mod is an override for another of my pet peeves, which is forcing all the Sims into brown colored clothing at the Spice Festival, making it look like a poor man's Firefly convention (the Browncoats are coming!). All it does is keep them instead in their regular clothes, which will usually be their everyday outfits.

You may still see a straggler or two dressed in something other than their normal outfits, because Maxis has a whole lot of different "situations" in the coding, and wading through them all lacked any sense of fun for me. Besides which, some probably actually add flavor to the Fest, like putting people manning the grills in aprons. But what an "overeater" is I don't even know, so they're gonna still wear what they feel is appropriate for gluttony.

The mod in an override, overriding the outfit change that took place at the Spice Festival (the "Food Festival" in the coding) for the bulk of the festival goers.

Eternal Night in Forgotten Hollow by TwistedMexi


Want to be able to roam your neighborhood at any hour without worry? After all, a vampire should be king of their domain. Go for a "snack" when you feel like with the eternal night mod for Forgotten Hollow!

This mod disables the sunlight from burning any vampires in Forgotten Hollow. There will still be a sunrise and sunset cycle but sunset starts immediately after the sunrise and does not affect any sims.

No More Welcome Wagon by TheFandomGirl


I'm fully aware that I may be alone in this regard, but after the 5th or 6th family I place in Windenburg has to put up with nosy neighbors and their "gift" of fruitcake, it's a wonder I haven't jumped off the roof of my house. And since pretty much every Sim I create is a Loner, well you can see how I might get very annoyed.

"Well, why not just cancel the event?" You may ask. Because I'm not so much of a misanthropic harpy that I don't feel bad for the negative relationship gain and the "I guess we're not wanted here." message that pops up.

So here you have it; a little XML tuning mod that prevents Welcome Wagons from ever happening. Think of it as an override; it replaces a nuisance and gives you nice, cushy solitude.  

Tested with both pre-existing and brand new households and saves.

Neighborhood Protection - No Vampires! by Tanja1986


You don't want vampires in your normal neighborhoods? Then this mod is for you! I do not touch the new world "Forgotten Hollow". But all the others, like Oasis Spring, Newcrest, City Living etc. these won't allow Vampires to roam any longer. I did not delete the scenario of "fake" vampires, the wannabes who dress like them, but are normal sims! But every other scenario, including doorbell from vampires should be removed.

Seamless Fix for Snow by Martine


Snow is my favourite thing in RL so I was pretty excited to try this new snow mod, but unfortunately it contained a few repeating textures and textures with watermarks on them (see examples above). After digging through the files, I found the culprits, swapped the textures for a clean, seamless version and voilà - perfect snow!

This DL only contains the fixed files, you still need to download Simcookie’s original files. All credit for the original mod goes to Simcookie.

Auto NPCs (Barista and Stall Vendor) by CinderelliMouse


It frustrates me that some objects in TS4 only auto-call NPCs on certain lots. I was so disappointed that City Living food stands would stand empty on park lots. 😦

Previously I was able to create mods to make it free to hire vendors, and bartenders and baristas. However, I still wished that the NPCs would auto-attend the lot because it breaks the immersion to have to keep calling them in manually. After MUCH playing around with the files, and many failed attempts, I was finally able to call some NPCs in to certain lots.

For the vendors, you can place multiple stalls on one lot but only one vendor will be auto hired. They seem to choose which stall to open at random. If you delete a stall, they will go and open another. The vendors will auto tend any type of stall though: food; tea; swag; produce.

The baristas and vendors are called to the lot in overlapping shifts, so you should see a new NPC arriving to replace the one that is leaving. The barista/vendor will be called even if you do not have a barista bar or stall on the lot.
