Larger Autonomous Meal Size by edwardecl
This mod will not make any smart choices, it just forces medium meal sizes when the sim is acting on their own.
Replaces the fridge autonomous interaction XML files...
E882D22F 000000000000344C fridge_CookAutonomously
E882D22F 000000000000344E fridge_CookGourmetAutonomously
With edited XML files which replace all the used recipes with the medium size ones, also as a bonus I have added all the recipes used in expansions to the autonomy, excluding stuff likes cookies and spooky stuff because they are not a meal.
Does not include any new recipes from City Living (if applicable).
Should work in any version of The Sims in theory, the extra recipes should be ignored if you don't have the relevant stuff-pack/expansion, the base file had some of the recipes from addons just not all of them for some reason.

Update-No More ingredients needed mod by cyberops
Seeing that the creator is missing for a long time, I have decided to update its version for patch 1.24 (oct 2016)
It is possible that this update to be here on a temporary basis if the creator will return
If he will be back, this thread will be deleted.
I don't know what the future would bring
Posting this update I didn’t want to offend the creator, I wanted only help the players
This mod has been rebuilt from scratch..
This was a mod I been working on 3 days since I had to check 372 files and edit 215 files but the end is… no more need for ingredients for foods, herbal remedies herbs and chemical potions.
-No_More_Ingredients_Needed_all_recipes 1.24 – for all cooked baked and grilled, etc foods.
-No_More_Ingredients_Needed_Herbalism_recipes 1.24 - Separate package for Herbal recipes that came with Outdoor Retreat
-No_More_Ingredients_Needed_Serum_recipes 1.24 - Separate package for Serum recipes required for Chemistry Lab from Get To Work.

GrayCurse's Cooking & Ingredients Overhaul by graycurse
Have you ever found cooking in TS4 to be too easy? Do you yearn for more realistic cooking? Do you enjoy playing a history challenge, or just want more of a challenge in general? Then this is the mod for you!
Experience cooking in an all new way with brand new ingredients: eggs, milk, flour, cheese, bread, sugar, chicken, beef, pasta, and more! These new ingredients, as well as old ones, can be purchased through a new "Buy Ingredients" option on the fridge. You'll need to go shopping now that recipes require all ingredients! Each and every recipe was tweaked to have a more realistic set of ingredients.
New Ingredients
The new ingredients add a more realistic element to the cooking experience. They may be purchased through the menu on the fridge, or by enabling buydebug mode and search for "Cooking ...". The ingredient meshes are all from the base game, but were extracted and repackaged by me. I am hoping to refine their appearances in the near future!
Grocery Shopping
If we need more things to cook, we need to buy them from somewhere, right? The all new purchase dialog contains filters for food group types, including one for the new cooking ingredients. Please note that some debug items appear in the list - I am looking into how to remove them, but in the mean time, please don't purchase them. I will be enhancing this list with more food groups as necessary!
Increased Recipe Difficulty
All recipes now require the necessary ingredients. Every recipe has been overhauled to include a more realistic ingredients set, although some further change is possible/likely. Grills and campfires were also updated to require ingredients as well! Snack and vending machine recipe updates will be included shortly.

Doughnuts From The Stove by The Valerius Vaults
Basically a tuning-mod/override which I started while writing my tutorial on food last weekend. It’s a simple override which adds a picker menu for custom recipes to the Nicer Home and Lots Classic Cookbook sculpture which came with the kitchen stuff SP. Currently the only recipes listed are the doughnut recipes from GTW, as I usually don’t have room in my kitchens for the cupcake machine, but my sims still would like to eat and cook bakerey goods. This is a two part download:
The cookbook: Overrides the cookbook pile from Cool Kitchen Stuff and adds a custom interaction. The object is now livedrag enabled, can be stored in a Sim’s inventory and can be found under Applicances > Misc. To use it, place it somewhere on the lot, click anc pick. (requires Cool Kitchen Stuff to work)
The Doughnut Recipes: Allows doughnuts to be baked from the stove (yeah, I know .... ), also changes the existing doughnut recipes to display a greater price and skill-level range at restaurants and most importantly, adds an unhealthy amount of calories to the doughnut tuning. A doughnut now has 300 Simcalories - instead of 0. (requires GTW to function)
