Hello, fellow simmers. Just recently I wanted to give the fishing experience of Sims 4 another go, but I knew I would need to get a few helpful tweaks in place before I would ever attempt it again. As the Fisherman's Friend title suggest, these three mods are to help make the angler's experience a fun and worthwhile venture, not so heavy-handed cheating as to be the Fisherman's Fubar.
First we have a mod that I think most of us have been waiting for, for quite some time. Most of us surprised this last year of playing Sims 4 as to why the quality of fish is so out of whack. No matter how skilled your angler sim is, only a small handful of fish caught were ever granted the "Excellent Quality" status. Those would-be master chefs and epicures of fine foods were at a loss as to why the most prestige sounding of fish could never be found at the best quality. Those days are over, folks. Now all fish and bottom-scuttling crustaceans can begin their short or long lives of captivity in the best of shape. What's the point of looking as spectacular as a Rainbow Fish, but only ever being of Average Quality? The poor fish would be a laughing stock as soon as it's placed in the aquarium. All the other fish would tease it mercilessly. Now your Rainbow Fishies can swim around in the tank with full pride. All thirty species of fish are Excellent Quality right from the moment your happy sim lands any of them in the net.
